Suja is a Global, Digital, Technology and Business Transformation Executive and a tech industry leader with a career that has spanned across multiple continents including Australia, North America/USA, Latin America and Europe, and has led some of the world’s greatest retail and CPG organizations. Serving as SVP, Global Chief Technology Officer and Chief Data Officer at WalMart Stores Inc., the Fortune 1 Company in the world, Suja leads technology and data transformation for WalMart US, Sam’s Club and WalMart International. Prior to that, Suja has served as Global Chief Information Officer of The Timberland Company, where she was accountable for the Footwear, Apparel & Accessories retailer’s technology, ecommerce and digital transformation.
As the VP and Chief Technology Officer of PepsiCo North America, Suja led the company’s digital and technology strategy and delivery for its business units including Frito Lay, Pepsi Beverages, Quaker, Tropicana, Gatorade and Pepsi Bottling. As the CIO of Transformation, for Nestle Americas, Suja led the world’s largest food & beverage company’s business transformation initiatives including business process, technology and data transformation for the company’s Global Business Excellence (GLOBE) across Nestle Americas.
Suja has executive development education from London Business School. Suja earned her Master of Business Systems at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia and her Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from the University of Madras, India. Temple University’s FOX School of Business awarded Suja the IT Leader of the Year award in 2013 for her accomplishments in global digital leadership as a big data and advanced analytics leader and practitioner.
She has been named as one of Top 10 Digital & Technology Leaders in the United States by Financial Times—which also nominated Suja for board of director memberships of several public companies. Other honors include being named as one of the Top 50 Diverse Executives of 2014 by Diversity MBA Magazine, and as one of the world’s most “ICONIC” Women Leaders in Technology by Interop, InformationWeek, India.
•John Cuny, President and CEO, World Class Health Enterprises, Inc.
John is currently working on the full spectrum of health care implementation and strategy. He serves as an advisor and/or manager to health-care organizations in the U.S., Britain, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Germany, Indonesia, South Korea, Brazil and Poland. Previously,
John served as acting President and CEO of Allied Medical based in Saudi Arabia and London. That project focused on managing, building and investing in hospital-based management projects. He led the building of an international health insurance product for the coverage of catastrophic diseases. Owners-partners included worldwide investors and five prestigious U.S. medical centers. John Cuny was also the former CEO of Anthem Blue Cross Insurance for Florida.
•Dr. Rajan Natarajan, Commissioner, Maryland Transportation Commission
Dr. Rajan Natarajan is currently serving as the Commissioner of Maryland Transportation, Board Member of Maryland Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of Maryland Cyber Security Council, and Board of Visitors of University of Maryland. Dr. Natarajan was appointed as the Deputy Secretary of State for Policy and External Affairs of Maryland by Governor Martin O’Malley on June 2011.
Till date, it is the highest administrative office held by an Indian American in the Maryland state’s history.
